Peace
How can a mystic walk forward and strike against injustice, poverty and hatred? With the weapons of mercy, hope, and faith:
”Those who speak convincingly of peace, cannot go armed. Those who speak convincingly of peace, must not be weak. So we make every finger a dagger, every arm a spear, and every open hand an ax or sword.”

It is interesting given this quote of how God describes His own approach to peace and justice. He comes with open arms (real ones without the daggars, spears, or axes) that we can safely run into. It is by the words of His mouth that judgment is executed!
Recently read a good quote that kind of goes along with this - People want a strong government that rules lightly.

Thanks for the comment, Phil.
I was thinking on about the mystics who walk intentionally toward defeating injustice, poverty, pain etc through the weapons of faith, hope, love and mercy . . . “every finger a dagger, every arm a spear”
