Homeless for 24 hrs

Tonight TLC begins its’ series of “The Messenger” (10/9c) by asking “10 speakers from a variety of perspectives . . . to explore their ability to communicate the many complexities of life’s toughest lessons. Along the way, the speakers address issues viewers face in their everyday lives and communities.”

They have to experience it before they talk about it, so they enter into becoming homeless, albeit for only 24 hrs . . .  Is this something we should consider?  How can we be part of a solution to a problem?  How can we effectively communicate in contemporary culture with all of its’ intricacies and issues?  Do we need to “walk in their shoes”?

I’m interested to see this . . . more to follow once it has aired . . .  Would love to hear from any who saw/were impacted by it . . .
