Invisible Children - Showing Next Week
I’m coordinating a showing of “Invisible Children” next week - This is the reality film three college guys made on the child soldiers in Uganda - Has anyone seen/shown it? Any good discussion questions/ideas?ÂÂ
I appreciate any thoughts from anyone who has seen it . ..

It’s a relatively powerful film in that it’s hard to watch and then not want to do something. I think a good question is, “Is our conviction strong enough for us to do more than simply feel bad for the children or promote I.C. on our webpage?” The creators of the film outright stated at the end that in all honesty, they really do need your money. What might be a good thing to add is how people can be more directly involved w/ I.C.; something similar to mission/relief work.

I’m going to fly in on wednesday for the showing. once I park the jet, I’ll catch a limo to the location. do you think Bono will be comfortable at my summer place or do we have to get the grand floridian again? paul’s such a rock star, always was. is he bringing allison and the kids? if so we’ll do disney, he always gets the “fast pass” if you know what I mean.
