Balancing Kiwis

Why do we love to feed the alligators?  I mean the sign says not to, for goodness sake.  We understand that it will cause them to lose fear of people, and come nearerer . . . but we still want to!!  They are just so darn cool!  It’s like having dinosaurs laying around, and for a guy from England it really messes with your head. 

 I remember going for a walk at the apartment we rented, and walking round the small man made pond.  It was so beautiful . . . so idyllic.  Palm trees, sunsets, blue skies . . . and a six foot alligator just lying there a few feet away.  SO cool!!  I love Florida!!  The beauty AND the danger of nature.

Life is beautiful, and life has its’ own alligators.  But it seems to me that a large part of the beauty of life comes in engaging the danger . . . In  feeding the alligators.
