DoSul @ House Blends
WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS -A great weekend here in sunny FL!ÂÂ
Pic below from the grand opening of the House Blends café in Ocoee, FL. This is just round the corner from me, and they had an awesome opening featuring LA band DoSul and Jason Sharp playing outside (both brilliant, by the way!!) on Saturday. The café was jammed with folks visiting, and a really great time was had by all! If you live in the area, be sure to drop by and check out the menu and great coffee, as well as any events they have going on. This is also a VOX hotspot, with free wi-fi and great community!
Below pic is of my good friend TS who came down from MD to visit the FL paradise for a weekend – Despite the cold night Saturday, T had a brilliant time and is pictured here with Alex Mcmanus of the band DoSul.
 
So Sat eve was fantastic (Thanks to all the guys at House Blends) and we followed it up with a very late night trip to a waffle house (great to hear about The Spring, Dean and Tina), an early morning airport ride, and then my Leaders’ session on Sunday @ church. Here we focussed primarily on communicating the vision, looking specifically at the “Anatomy of Transformation”. It was extremely well-attended and received, with my leaders investing themselves in the vision.  This is the first time all three teams have been brought tgether for an event like this, so exciting times as we begin to impliment and experiment with projects.
After a quick trip to downtown Disney for T to pick up his gifts for the fam back in MD we had an awesome dinner with Alex and Lucas Mcmanus on Sunday evening - Thanks so much Alex for your leadership and your generosity in hanging out with us over good pasta & good conversation.ÂÂ
A lot of good conversation, hanging out, good coffee and good food . . . a great way to spend the weekend!

Thanks Niza, we had an awesome time too! Hope you guys stayed healthy . . . I’m paying a little for the cold weather now!

Hi Mark! It was so good to meet you! Thanks for the ride to the Waffle House — I sure wish we had that place out here. Might call for another trip to Florida
I tried to comment on Tony’s page, but it wouldn’t let me, so I’m going to tack on a big hello to Tony here — HELLO! Wonderful to talk with you too. You both were so giving and interesting and exploring and open. Hope we bump into each other again… Vox is a good place for that!
